William R. Davie Park part 1

This is one of those drive by days. Where I drive into the area to "scope" out if the time is even worth the walk in this park. On the day I went, it was just going into the noon hours and starting to get warmer.

I think because I had already "scoped" out 2 other parks and felt disappointed that they were more of recreational verses hike, walk worthy I did not want even to get out here.

I know when I first drove in there is recreational areas and picnic areas. As you get to the big part of the circle there is a playground area and more picnic area.

According to their site they show this water area but I did not see signs for trails nor anything pointing to a lake or pond.

So I did not get out and look.

Hence why I have this listed as Part 1. I still need to go back and make a point to actually look further.

If anyone is curious it is located in Matthews, NC.

If anyone has pictures or has been here I would appreciate the comments.

Until next time.

A ginger walking. Hoping for daisy finds.
