Park Road Park part 1

This is yet another park I drove by in. The area is friendly and I thought it was just for baseball but when I got two thirds the way around in the circle I found the hidden gem.

A small pond that I watched a gentleman fishing from and a nice young lady walking near. I took a couple of pictures but not many.

Definitely one I have marked in my books to come back to.

Though going on, finishing the circle you come to the "play" area. There is a good size parking lot with picnic area on one side and a playground and more picnic area on the other side. This is definitely a kid friendly park.

When I was here it was the last few days of school and it was a group from an outreach program there enjoying themselves. Kids and adults alike.

Considering that this park is in an urban area I was surprised at how well it catered to all sorts of people.

Park road park is located in Charlotte, NC off Park Road just beyond Southpark Mall area. It is a nice get away from a busy life. Slow down a little bit.

This is the park's hidden gem.

This is the other side of the pond. As you can see there are walking trails. I am not sure how long the trails are but they are enjoyed.

Until the next time I go.

A ginger walking. Hoping for daisy finds.
