So this is a place my mother loves to go. We don't normally get out to take any part of the hikes although I would love that. Still the most I have done in walking is going from park office building to parking lot.
So with that all said I realize that the park is a magnificent place to go for hikes and just education on the Revolutionary War and surrounding areas. My mother primarily wanted to go to see if she could find her ancestors on the rosters. And she did plus a few others.
Asides from that point the park is located at 2300 Park Road; Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. The hours of operation are daily 9 am to 5 pm. There are a few times when they have extended hours on the weekend and are closes on certain holidays.
Please see their website for directions, times, education sources and many other things.

They give many ideas to attractions local and places to stay as well as events within the park. So please do go and look.
My adventure there usually just consists of us driving through and contemplating just how difficult it might have been to walk through those woods, quietly or how they would see. Just many things that you meditate over when it the woods or in a park, silently.
Just some of the things I felt were necessary for this ride through. I hope next time to go here and be able to get out on the trails.
So until next time.
This is a ginger walking. Hoping for daisy finds.
