Park Road Park part 2

Today I went by the park again not necessarily to walk or hike but to just sit down by the water. Which is a big expansion of water. I took pictures of the mimosa and the sweet magnolias as well as the water and the ball park area. Onward into the flowers and animals in areas of the water.

In fact I had a few people staring at me for taking the pictures. Like they have never seen someone do that. Even over the little parts of the park.

I find beauty in the weirdest spots.

I know I will make it there again to just do the short hike around the water. I know several people were there walking their dogs. There were also a few couples lingering around the water too. Just enjoying each other's company and a few single people seated at the benches nicely placed around. Including me.

Mimosa trees along the drive near water and baseball fields

magnolia trees line the drive as well.

pull into the parking lot and this is one of the views you see.

and this one. The break in the trees is where Park Road is.

This is where I sat to watch the dragonflies dance. I also saw a turtle and several tadpoles as well. Among some bees and birds. Plus a few squirrels scurrying along as well.

I am not sure if you can see but the water reflection show the baby dragonflies or smaller dragonflies giving me the water dance. It was so magnificent and calming.

I tripped over my own feet and got this picture as well as a few others. Not my most graceful moment and I am sure the gentleman seating at the bench nearby got a good laugh. I know I did.

This was nearby so why not make a note of the small flowers too.

This was my last shot before I went back to the car.

So I will go back for a third part to walk the trail around the water to get other views. This time around was not so busy which made it more pleasant. I know for sure I needed that today.

So you too must make a note to go see this Urban Oasis as I call it.
Plenty of seating area and picnic shelters ( 4 I think) and a great play ground too  for the kiddos.

Until next time.

This is a ginger walking. Hoping for daisy finds.
