Today I will post some of my older visits. I was going to post them on Thursday evening but that early morning I got some really bad news. So all parts of life went on stand still. Like no part of me wanted to be a part of any world.
I found out that my grandmother, who was 99, passed away in her sleep. It was good that she went so peacefully. Even more so that she had a long life but that doesn't dull the pain. Even today I have some issues when I am alone, I cry.
Yet in my household I am the one that stand strong for everyone else. So I cry in my own time. I have to prepare for a long drive in the morning. Just under 500 miles to drive through Virginia, West Virginia mountains and up the back roads of Ohio to get to my hometown.
So today I will post the ones from before Thursday and if I did any during my grieving time I will post them on Sunday.
If I visit any parks or local events in my hometown area I will post on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. My drive back to current home on Wednesday.
So just let me tell you I hadn't forgot telling you of the wonderful parks in Charlotte and events too that I went to. Just was in a foggy, dazed moment. Walking quietly while tears still fall.
So have patience with me.
I am still grieving in spurts. However my calming places are parks, long walks and talking to friends.
Until next time.
A ginger walking. Hoping for daisy finds.
Mary
